Linder Farms Needs You!!

We will be interviewing and accepting applications on the following dates at our farm. Come with application and talk to us about your experience and availability.
Saturday, September 17th, 2011 2:00pm to 5:00pm
Tuesday, September 20th, 2011 6:00pm to 8:30pm
Pay
These are not permanent positions; nor will they be full-time. You will only be employed from September 23 through October 31, 2011.
The hourly pay rate is $7.50 per hour, and you must be at least 16 years old.
Business Hours
The pumpkin patch will open September 23 and run through October 31. The days and hours are as follows:

| Friday | 4pm to 10pm |
| Saturday | 10am to 10pm |
| Sunday | Closed |
Please look at your schedule and tell us what hours you can commit to.
Availability and Age
Past experience has taught us that scheduling is a challenge. Therefore, we prefer those who are willing to work at least 20 hours per week and be a consistent fixture at our farm. Also, due to new insurance regulations, we need tractor drivers to be at least 25 years old. So, if you are 25 or older and able to commit to 20+ hours per week, we would like to talk to you. Responsibilites
Take a look at the list of duties that are performed at Linder Farms, and let us know what you would like to do. This is not a complete list of duties, but it will give you a good idea of the types of tasks that you will be asked to perform. Realize that we may need to move you around to meet the needs of the customers. If there are some tasks that you are more comfortable with or some that you do not want to do, please let us know, and we will do our best to accommodate your needs. Linder Farms is a family-oriented place and whatever task you perform must be done with a smile and good attitude.
Concessions
- Operating cash registers
- Stocking cans of soda and ice
- Making and serving popcorn and nachos
- Making and serving mini-donuts
- Serving hot chocolate and hot cider
Corn Maze
- Operating cash registers
- Checking tickets
- Patrolling the corn maze
Pumpkin Patch
- Weighing pumpkins
- Directing traffic
- Collecting trash
- Driving tractors for hay wagons
Food Court
- Operating cash registers
- Making and serving various food items such as hamburgers and fried foods
- Cleaning and organizing the food preparation area
Field Trips
- Field trips run September 26 through October 31 and require the flexibility to work hours between 8:00am and 3:30pm, depending upon scheduled field trips.
- Employees will lead groups through various activities including hay rides, art projects, straw maze, etc.

Uniform
You will need to wear a LINDER FARMS t-shirt when you are working at the pumpkin patch. Everyone that works at Linder Farms is given one short sleeve shirt. If you want more shirts, you can buy them for $10.00 each.
